Downs / Patau’s results

Hi ladies

Just want to check I’m reading this right, I got my results today:

Age related risk for downs: 1 in 423
Age related risk for Edward’s / Patau’s: 1 in 4,220

Individual risk for downs: 1 in 10,000
Individual risk for Edward’s / Patau’s: 1 in 100,000

This is such a dumb question but I’m blaming baby brain... So I’m guessing I focus on the individual risk and pretty much can ignore the age related? And I take it the Down’s is a good result?

Sorry for being thick 😂

Great results, have you had the harmony test?

BingerGiscuit · 05/08/2020 13:22

@sunflowersandtulips50 thank you! No this was just the NHS screening test

focus on the individual risk from your screening result, which are both very low risk :)

It's a good result for them both x

They are great results. My DS result was 1 in 3000 which stressed me out but when I spoke to screening service they explained that my age related risk was 1 in 250 so I actually had a good result!

Thank you everyone! Sorry again for being dense 😂
