Hi there,

Today I am 5+4 weeks pregnant. Had implantation bleeding ten days ago, then on Sunday had brown spotting. I’ve a history of PCOS so on Monday when I told my GP about the bleeding she sent me for a scan. Scan went well it was a vagina scan as a tummy scan wouldn’t work - they confirmed I was as early as I thought I was ie 5 weeks. They could see the sac and yolk sac. No fetal pole but that’s meant to be very normal as I am so early. I’m back next Thursday for another scan to check progress.

Anyway, since Sunday the brown spotting has been intermittent, but yesterday it got darker, a slight bit heavier and with one or two gloopy bits. No red or anything, it is only there when I pee or wipe.

I’ve got lots of tenderness, some very mild cramps but I would always have this with PCOS, especially after any kind of internal scan. I can also feel a bit of burning when I wee but think that’s down to the scan more than anything else.

Spoke to GP this morning she said all sounds relatively normal and that all I can do is wait until the scan next week.

Anyway was just looking for any other stories of hope or similar with positive outcomes?

Thanks

Hello my love. All I can relate with is the cramping. When I first fell pregnant I had cramps which made me need to lie down! So hoping that eases your nerves a little.

Have positive thoughts and (I know it's easier said than done) but try not to worry.

X

Thanks so much @CD28 that does make me feel a lot better! Fingers crossed! I’ve heard brown blood is fine it’s when it turns red you need to worry. Can’t do anymore anyway. Nausea and pregnancy symptoms are my only comfort 😂😂😂
