Did anyone have cramping before getting a BFP

Hi, I'm on cycle one of ttc#2. With my DS 4 years ago I literally had no signs of pregancy at all, just no period and then when I was 5 days late I got a bfp. This time I'm 4 days late (although my cycles are not exactly regular I'd have still expected to start by now). For the last 4 days I've had mild cramps on and off. I usually get these 12-24 hours before my period starts but so far, no BFP but no AF either! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Just wondering if anyone else had cramps like this - I'm scared to get my hopes up too much but I'm finding myself inevitably hoping that this limbo will end with a bfp. I've got a first response test to do tomorrow morning, the previous 3 over the last 3 days (2 x Morissons own and 1 x Clear Blue) have all come back negative but I know they aren't as sensitive. Thanks for reading! What with COVID I've had just about all the uncertainty I can take!!

Before I found out I was pregnant I was convinced my period was coming, usual symptoms including A lot of cramping! This continued when I found out too! Due to the cramping I was convinced I wasn’t pregnant, I was ignoring the obvious symptoms now I look back, couldn’t empty the bin without gagging, the fridge knocked me sick & I weirdly needed a wee a lot! Fingers crossed for your BFP 🤞🏼

Thanks ladies. It's so hard not to get hopeful, with DS I was pregnant first cycle of trying (the month after our wedding) 😂. We did try for 5 months last year but no luck and then DH decided he didn't want another child(!) At least we're back on the same page and back on track now!

@Geekydeaky 😂 With my DS I didn't believe the pregnancy test at all, but then suddenly food started to taste very odd, kind of gave it away!
