i mean, really long

i am so impatient for my new life to begin.

i KNOW all you old timers will tell me to enjoy my last few months of freedom, but right now all i want to do is meet the LO

and 9 months is a very long time, when you think about it.

am i the only one who is vaguely grateful that you have 9 months to get used to the idea that you are going to be having a REAL baby?? I went through a whole gamut of emotions and only through experiencing all of them was I finally prepared to meet my LO!

In the first half, 9 months seemed like forever. Then I hit about 5 months (24 weeks) and ever since the time has been whizzing by. Now at 34 weeks, I still feel like I have so much to do in the next few weeks!

i love the way we've been elongating our words when writing about how it drrrraaaagggggsssssssss on ;-)

fear not, old timers, i have read the thread about all the things to be appreciated before the first

i guess part of it is a scientific awe and the thought it takes 9 months to grow a baby, you know

Last time around I was so hot I couldn't wait for it all to be over (summer '04) but, as soon as the baby arrived I wish I'd listened to everyone about not wishing the pregnancy away as you 'don't know tired' until you have had those first few weeks with a newborn... anyways, second pregnancy, I have been thinking to myself, I won't wish it away this time... however I am now 38 weeks and absolutely desperate to give birth! LOL! I do really think it's natures way of preparing you for the reality of birth! I bet I will re-read this in a few weeks time when this LO is here and tut-tut all over again!
