Hello,

Bit of background for you. Started ttc April 2019 and fell pregnant pretty much straight away. Unfortunately ended up being ectopic and resulting in a tube being removed. We conceived again in November ending in a chemical pregnancy and again in December. We then found out we were pregnant in March this year but unfortunately this was another chemical. We have been referred to a specialist. Only had tests in the last week or so and so haven't got my results. Found out at the weekend I am pregnant! Still early on and about 4 weeks 3 days now. Strongest lines I have ever had on pregnancy tests.
Felt quite nauseas on Saturday but eased Sunday and nothing today.
Don't really have any other symptoms which is unusual compared to other pregnancies!

I am just feeling so anxious and waiting for something bad to happen. Need some positive stories!

All going well I will have scan at 6 weeks but I feel like these 2 weeks are going to drag and I need something to distract me.

Sorry for the long post x

I've had recurrent MC as DH has a chromosome translocation.

IME - strength of lines seemed to make a difference, symptoms did not. It's very very common for symptoms to wax and wane at this stage and I didn't feel any "more pregnant" in the one I kept than the ones I lost. You can drive yourself crazy thinking about that.

Hang in there! But I find it helps (me) to think of it as being step one and being in limbo somewhat - you've got the first step towards a pregnancy but you're not out of the woods yet.

See if you can find something really diverting like a book series, TV series or addictive game to play to occupy those moments and take your mind off things.

Are they letting you have beta HcG bloods taken? That can be hugely reassuring and can be done this early. You need 2x 48h apart. They don't usually do this in the UK but sometimes will if under RMC.

Hi OP, I can’t really offer much advice as just had the one early MC and am now 13 weeks with second pregnancy but just wanted to say congratulations and I have everything crossed this one sticks Flowers

In my 13 weeks I have noticed (and subsequently panicked) symptoms coming and going and this forum has many posts about it and each time it and generally the response is it’s normal. Good luck x

@BertieBotts

That's reassuring to hear 😊 I got so excited to have nausea (never thought I'd say that) then it fizzled out!! We will have to see what happens.
Feels so much worse working from home because my mind wanders more than being sat in a office.

No never been offered that test but would be good! Got a chat with the consultant on Thursday see what she says!

@MinesALatte
Congratulations! It's scary that they just go... Probably going to do another test in a few days to check the lines! But hoping the next few weeks go fast!
Don't think I can take going through another miscarriage! X
