Usually people start complaining around this time. Why do I feel like there’s hardly any time left? I feel stressed that I’m not prepared for the baby (even though I have). Anyone else feeling like this Sad

I think it's normal really to be a bit anxious and nervous. Even though I'm expecting my 4th I'm still nervous about not being ready, so don't worry. If you are like me, waking up every 2 hours for the toilet doesn't help x

The toilet trips have been getting ridiculously Envy

Congratulations on your 4th! SmileFlowers

I was prepared from 20 weeks! 😂 no joke! Nappies, clothes washed, EVERYTHING! Felt great and stress feee for rest of my pregnancy till they told me I was being induced the next day at 39 weeks. Enter panic mode! 😂 I think it's only natural to worry, you want everything perfect for DB arrival. Don't worry! We've all been there!

My waters went at 37+6 2.5 weeks ago and I was so unprepared, they went at 10 at night and we were outside by torchlight getting clothes off the line to go in my hospital bag which I hadn't even started to pack. To be fair, she's my 3rd and both the others were overdue so I had no sense of urgency at all lol. Also had to stop on the way to the hospital to buy nappies. It all worked out fine in the end though!

Yep feel like I'm running out of time fast! Mainly worried about work and everything that needs to be done before I finish but also want to be as prepared as possible.

37 weeks now and recently began to panic. My last baby is now 8... I don't remember how to be a mum to a baby 😂 even putting the pram together yesterday was foreign to me!

LASandOtto · 03/08/2020 10:42

OP I could've written this!

I feel the same. Have only just started on the hospital bag, not finished it yet.

Also haven't even thought about birth plan, and not really prepared for that for my next appointment at 36 weeks.

Getting really tired throughout the day as well now so everything seems more challenging to do and complete!

Glad it's not just me....

UrsulaSings · 03/08/2020 10:54

I'm 35 weeks as well and all organised with baby stuff but feel I have no time left as in theres not long left with just me and my DP to do nice things with just us! Which is making me feel sad!!

GoshHashana · 03/08/2020 12:43

I'm 36 weeks today and the anxiety has just kicked in! I'm rushing to finish a work project because I could potentially go into labour soon. Also trying to finish some house DIY... Argh. Breathe!

I’m packing my hospital bag right now actually. So glad I’m not the only one feeling like this. Thankfully the baby stuff is all done. The coronavirus made me prepare early for the little one. But mentally I’m not prepared at all Blush

I feel exactly the same way. Such little ‘us’ time left. And the lack of energy and baby bump doesn’t allow for spontaneity. Hopefully after we are settled with baby we can all enjoy some time with our partners.

Trust me if you go overdue time will feel like it’s dragging 😫

Dollywilde · 03/08/2020 15:04

I’m 38+4 today and I’ve not really felt much of the ‘ffs baby hurry up and arrive’ that others have mentioned. I’m keen to meet baby but not suffering really badly physically and have really enjoyed pregnancy! So that helps.

That said, I’d have also told you at 34 weeks that I was completely prepared. But then the chancellor announced stamp duty changes so we’re in the middle of selling our flat and buying a house. And last week a tin of paint spilled over my hospital bag so I had to buy a new bag and repack it. Oh and yesterday our car’s engine light came on so is now at the garage for an emergency repair and I’m having to pray I don’t go into labour before it’s fixed. So just remember, you can be as prepared as you like but if the unexpected comes along you’re somewhat screwed Grin
