Hey,I'm currently 6 weeks 4 days pregnant,This is my 3rd pregnancy with no living children 🥺 my first was ectopic where I had a methotrexate injection to treat it, my second was in September 2019 where at the 12 week scan they noticed our baby had Anencephaly which wasn't compatible with life 😠I really struggled getting through that and have been so scared to get pregnant again but now I am back pregnant and once again living in constant worry.
I went for our first placement scan (UK) with me having a previous ectopic, I have had no pain or bleeding and at the time of the scan I was showing at 6 weeks 1 day pregnant on my app, the sonographer had to do an internal scan where he could only see a gestational sac that measured 9mm but there was no yolk sac or anything else present, the same thing happened with my last pregnancy except for I was only 5 weeks which would explain that more and my HCG was a lot lower. When I came out of the scan and went through the findings with the lady she was very concerned and I basically am so worried and have written this pregnancy off once again, she said we should definitely have seen more in that scan because of what week I am and because of my HCG bloods, the week prior to my scan my first bloods were 356 and then 2 days later doubled to 866 which was looking optimistic, on the day of the scan she rung me later with the results which we are both sure she said they were 13659 but then she said so in the 5 days from last bloods to scan there has been a suboptimal rise? She said that because of my previous history of ectopic that they cannot rule out that that is what's happening, she sent my scan off for another lady to have a look at who seems to think that it's an intrauterine pregnancy that's just not progressing but again can't rule out ectopic. I'm just worried sick about what's to come. She didn't think there were any need for more bloods but she said that they were scheduling another scan for Thursday, super worried and scared and wondered if anyone had a similar experience with high HCG but only seeing gestational sac
