Stay active or stay relaxed during labour?

What did you do? Read so so many different articles about either resting to save energy, but then some articles suggest moving around to ease pain and speed the labour..

Personally I laboured very quickly so didnt have time to think about it.

Just listen to your body. If you want to rest, rest. If you need to walk or wiggle or bounce on a ball, do that. There is no right or wrong way.

I agree, listen to your body. For me I vary much wanted to stay stood up the whole time. Others will be different. Do what feels right

Go with whatever your body is telling you to do. I had long labours so for me it was a mixture of relaxing and moving around, depending on how I felt. Towards the end I always had a very strong urge to be upright for the delivery.

I couldn't lie down. Eventually I couldn't stand or sit either and had a CS. But your body tells you what to do.
