Hi all! I'm nearly 11 weeks pregnant and I'm currently employed by a day nursery and was wondering if any of you have any idea where to find up to date guidance on pregnant women going back to work? Our numbers are due to increase in September so we will be due back again (those of us that are still furloughed) and my bosses aren't even sure what the advice is! We're in northern Ireland if that makes any difference! Thanks!

Hi, I work in a private nursery. I’ve been on furlough since the end of March but this was due to lockdown and closure rather than pregnancy. They opened back up in July by which time I was into my 3rd trimester, so they have continued my furlough.
Pregnant ladies after 28 weeks should ideally be working from home or in a risk assessed environment where social distancing can be followed, however in a nursery this is near on impossible.
Have a look at rcog.org.uk
