I've put on 15 pounds so far which I'm pretty horrified about as i'm only 5ft and it's all gone straight to my thighs! I'm constantly wanting to eat crap though and I don't know how to snap out of it. Will it get easier?

For me, no! Constantly picking all day long, not good stuff either! I'm 26+4

I’m 22 weeks and feel the same! I managed to keep my weight down really successfully until a few weeks ago and it’s just gone up rapidly. I’ve heard that rapid weight gain is really usual in the second trimester so might not all be down to eating lots. Don’t worry, just be led by what your body is asking for.

Mine stopped after I had given birth, but he was over 9lbs

I went through this stage and it stopped at the end of 2nd and beginning of the 3rd trimester, so about 26/28 weeks. If i remember correctly, between 22 and 26 weeks or so baby goes through a growth spurt, which can make you really hungry.

When I got to 26/28 weeks roughly I started to feel soooo full all the time I couldn't have eaten constantly even if I wanted to!

Now I am 34 weeks and baby has dropped down a bit and I am eating loads again - can't seem to stop snacking! But I think that is normal as baby is putting on about 1/2 lb a week at the moment. I hear it levels off the closer you get to 40 weeks, but not that far gone yet to say for myself.

In the second trimester I am starvation central. Initially could eat anything that's not nailed down to the surface, and at approx 21-22 weeks had to watch what I am putting in my mouth and stop buying stuff I know I will demolish in seconds (bread things mainly). Now 26+3 and my stomach is being squashed by the baby, so I can't actually eat that much in a go. I want to, but it's not going to fit in 😂

I could have written this myself 🤣 it's 2am and ive just eaten 3 slices of toast and 2 bananas! 22+2 and already put on 16lbs Confused

For me in both pregnancies no, it tends to come and grow I assume in line with growth spurts of the baby. I'm 5 foot 1 and in both pregnancies put loads of weight on, not sure if it's as I start off petite so need to put more on but my appetite and urge to eat are hard to battle with Confused the weight does come off afterwards though, most of it tends to come off quite easy at the start, probably just the last few pounds you'll need to diet for/exercise for xx
