Hi folks, I am 28 weeks pregnant with my second and just wanted to share what I have been doing exercise wise and hear other people's stories and advice.
Since being on lockdown at the end of March have been following Amy Bodyfit videos on YouTube each day varying it between cardio and weights videos. There is so many videos to choose from. I am really enjoy the Amy Bodyfit videos and would recommend them. I then finishing up with a yoga for back pain and sciatica by pregnancy and postpartum TV.
I had an emergency CS with my first baby and ended up with back problems for months after although I did fall downstairs when bubs was 2 weeks old so could have been that😕
I will be having an Elective CS this time. I'm hoping all this exercise will help my recovery and hopefully I won't have the back problems this time🤞
I am keen to hear of anyone who has has an Elective CS and if they felt exercise helped😊

Yes I really like the body fit by Amy YouTube vodeos. They're some of the better keep fit videos on there.

I didn’t have an elective but I definitely think being fit helped after I had my first by emergency section. I was in the gym at 40+6 (waters broke that night). By 6 weeks PP I felt fine to run.

I’m still running at 26 weeks this time around (albeit slowly) although I’m going to start trying to do some videos etc. at home (unless I can find a pool that is actually open!) as I’m starting to struggle a bit.

I know @Shayisgreat I agree her videos are brilliant. Hopefully I'll find the time to try some of her postnatal videos.

Wow @RowboatsinDisguise that's amazing you are still running. You should check out AmyBodyfit on YouTube there's lots to choose from.
I am starting to struggle too especially after lunch time. Feel exhausted . Can't remember feeling like this first time round although I didn't have a toddler to run after
