Itchy left arm and hand in 1at trimester

Hi all, hoping to get some reassurance that others have had this problem and it’s not been OC.
I am 7 weeks pregnant and from 5+3 I have had itching in my left arm and hand. I did see a doctor and they said it was too early to be OC, so want to here from other ladies who had this and did it stop?!?

Hiya, probably not actually answering the question but I had OC with my first and I just want to reassure you that although it can be scary, you're very well monitored throughout your pregnancy with regular blood tests just to check everything is ok. I'm 4+2 with my second so very early but gearing myself up in case I get it again.

It does sound very very early to have symptoms, mine didn't kick in until much later but would keep an eye on it and either call or head down to MAU at your local hospital if you're really concerned who should be able to check your levels through a blood test. I didn't have a negative experience with OC, as mine was incredibly mild, but wishing you the best of luck

Thank you, mrsmummy1111. That’s really reassuring. I had a premature baby at 27 weeks followed by a miscarriage so feel very anxious with this one. When the itching started I did the worst thing and googled, and all you read are horror stories. Hopefully it’s just a surge in hormones!
