10.5 weeks cramps and brown spotting

Hi everyone

I am panicking this morning. Woke up to period like cramps and had a brown discharge when wiping.

I am 10.5 weeks due to having previous miscarriage last year at 8 weeks i went for an early scan at 6 weeks where baby was in right place and we seen a heartbeat.

I am due to go for other scan next Thursday but i am panicking this morning that something is wrong.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice appreciated.

@Paulaf87 sorry to hear your feeling this way this morning. Generally brown spotting is old blood. But if your concerned ring your doctor or midwife and see if they can get you seen before next week.

Thank you I've called the early pregnancy unit and i am waiting on a call back from the midwife so fingers crossed x

Hi @Paulaf87. I had bleeding (bright red at first) that over the day turned pink then brown. I had a scan and the baby was fine but it was terrifying!!
Hope you are ok and managed to get seen by EPU. X
