Gym and swimming in 3rd trimester

I’m in the third trimester, working from home and socially distancing, spending time outside, avoiding supermarkets and generally having pretty minimal interaction. My husband did a keyworker in healthcare so has a high level of exposure.

My gym (large expensive type) is reopening and I would love to go, swim, use the spa pool and relax. I feel like I probably shouldn’t as it may pose some additional risk of covid. But I keep thinking about it. Thoughts?

I swam throughout my whole pregnancy, its a really good low impact exercise for you.

Gym, think midwives say you should only carry on with what you did before you were pregnant

I’m a key worker and recently started going into work x2 days a week after working from home during lockdown and I’ve also been cautious about socialising, shopping etc. I am working from home again for up coming 3rd trimester but I am planning to go swimming on a weekly basis when pools re-open. I assume there will be some type of booking system so there’s never too many people in the pool at once and imagine a full body dip in chlorine will work wonders for germ busting Smile

I was considering the same thing. But I’ve decided against it.
But as a PP us said, chlorine in a pool will help! xx
