When is the earliest I can take a pregnancy test?

I had sex two and a half weeks ago and the condom split. Took the morning after pill three days later because I’m isolating and we couldn’t find somewhere that would allow my partner to pick it up. We then had sex again a week later unprotected, stupid I know but we were a bit drunk and out of condoms. Took the morning after pill again, three days later. Same issue again. I’m also aware you aren’t supposed to take the pill twice. Basically been really dumb. Haven’t been feeling myself the past few days, very light headed, getting nauseous and very tired. Could be all in my head or because I’ve started a new medication.

When is the earliest you have taken a pregnancy test and got an accurate result? I realise you’re meant to do it a few days after a missed period but just wondering if there’s any way of detecting earlier. Thank you!

First response test, from 10 to 14 days post expected ovulation

When are you due on your period? I personally waited until the day I was due but you can test a couple of days before if you want to.

The problem with testing too early is you just end up with an 'is there a line or isn't there?', 'is it a false negative?', 'is it an evap?' type situation where you have to keep buying more tests and retesting anyway around your due date anyway.

I honestly don’t know @sel2223. I had a baby 14 weeks ago. I had my first period at six weeks postpartum, another four weeks later, but then a couple of days later had another. It’s so confusing!

Hmm that is confusing. I'd say wait 3 weeks after DTD then test with FMU then.
Good luck.
