Dog front paws landed on bump

Hi

I'm 20 weeks and a half pregnant and earlier today my 12kg westie got a bit scared on the sofa and lunched across towards me landing with his front paws on my bump.

It didn't hurt and there's been no pain or bleeding since. Should I be concerned or is little bump ok in there?

Thanks Smile

Your baby is perfectly fine. They are very well protected in there.

Don't worry another minute. Baby is well cocooned in there with plenty of cushioning around her/him. No harm will have been done.

Don’t worry, the baby is amazingly protected in there. My 2stone toddler has launched himself at my bump a few times (I’m 20 weeks) so I understand the fear but am sure all is well.

Thank you - it's so hard not to worry. I know he didn't do it on purpose he's just a dog that is scared of everything!

As it didn't hurt at the time or after I was hoping all was ok.

Aww you’ll be fine OP don’t worry. There’s plenty of padding in there!

Honestly don't worry.

If you plan a second child you'll learn just how well protected they are in there, toddlers do not know the meaning of gentle! Mine was bouncing on my bump daily.

I also have a 2 stone toddler who isn’t very careful (what toddler is?) and she’s landed quite heavily on my stomach once or twice.
They’re very well protected.

Poor pooch. Hope he’s ok & you have him lots of fuss.

Thank you - I just need some reassurance to try and not worry as much

Thank you - I just need some reassurance to try and not worry as much. We are still keeping it all quiet (which has been pretty easy with lockdown) but that also means I can't ask my friends who both have two things like this.
