Small amount of pink spotting 4 weeks pregnant

So I found out I was pregnant a few days ago and my period was due yesterday. I've had the odd twinge here and there but nothing like cramps and had nausea and sore boobs. This morning when I went for a wee I wiped and had a small amount of pink cm (size penny) obviously I freaked out. But I have had nothing since and no pains or cramps ect. I called my hospital and as am 4 weeks can't offer me a early scan but said some bleeding is normal during early pregnancy and some woman bleed throughout. It has made me feel slightly less worried but am still worried! Am just looking for reassurance of anyone else who may have had this and everything turned out fine xx

It sounds like implantation bleeding to me. I had the same and now have a healthy 13 month old. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy x

I had this on two occasions, tiny bit of pink, once when wiping around 5-6 weeks and again the same thing about 4 days later.

It had me very nervous. I had a reassurance scan at 7 weeks and baby was happy and wriggly with a strong heart beat, currently almost 19 weeks.
The midwife put it down as potential implantation bleeding.

Thank you @HLC85! Am I right in saying that you wouldn't get a positive pregnancy test before implantation bleed? I tested on Wednesday and Thursday this week and positive (2 days before period) xx

Thank you @december2020. Yeah was just the once and had nothing else. Keep getting like a tugging sensation to my left side every now and again but no cramps or further spotting! I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks in February so my anxiety is through the roof at the moment. But I had no spotting and had terrible cramps throughout and then nothing with this time except sore boobs and back and nausea xx

I had already done two tests which confirmed I was pregnant before I had implantation bleeding. Sorry if I've misunderstood your question! Xx

Ahh right I didn't know you could get an implantation bleed after a positive pregnancy test! Am new to this whole TTC journey and assumed an implantation happens before a positive test due to HGC? Xx
