Leaking vagina fluid and blood, miscarriage?

Hi all, am 8 weeks +2 and today I noticed quite a lot of clear fluid leaking. I sat on the toilet a while worried and then my worst fear, I wiped and there was blood. Not much but it was there and red. After a few hours and through the night I kept checking, no more blood and haven't had cramps either though keep prodding my boobs and they don't feel as sore as normal. Just really worried that it's a miscarriage. It's so annoying as this is my first pregnancy. Been waiting so long and scared to death of the worry of an mc.

Try to get an appointment with your doctor tomorrow. Good luck.

Sex can cause a small bloody discharge the day after in pregnancy. Perfectly normal. If you are worried though make a drs appt.

I bled through all of my pregnancies (4) and went into have three babies. Try and stay off your feet as much as possible today in case it is a threatened miscarriage and ring your local early pregnancy unit at the hospital to get a scan tomorrow. Good luck.

I bled at 5 and 8 weeks pregnant. It was a gush of fresh blood followed by dark brown discharge for a couple of weeks each time. I am now 25 weeks pregnant and scans etc are all fine.
I am certain sex triggered the later bleed and the GP said the early bleed was likely the embryo establishing itself in the lining of the uterus. It is also normal to have increased discharge during pregnancy.

@jessstan2 thanks, I've called 11 and a Dr is gonna call me back

@Frannibananni we haven't had sex since I found out so it's not that. DH has this crazy idea it's gonna grab him haha. Don't even get me started.

@lufcaregoingup I've called 111 hopefully doc will arrange a scan for me, we shall see.

@Hopefulhen blood has gone like a brown colour now when I wipe, hope that's good! Wasn't triggered by sex though. Unless it was just sneezing or something. I have been sneezing quite a bit

This is from 'tommys' website:

Implantation bleeding
Implantation is when the fertilised egg (developing embryo) is embedding into the wall of the womb. This usually happens around the time your period would normally have been due. Some women have had implantation bleeding after 8 weeks of pregnancy.

"An implantation bleed is very light bleeding (spotting) that is usually pinkish and sometimes brown. You may see it when you wipe after going to the toilet or in your underwear. It shouldn’t be enough to soak through pads or underwear. Usually it only lasts for a day or so, though for some women it can last a little longer."

Sounds like you, Chrissayeth.
