Cramping in early pregnancy, experiences?

I'm currently 11 weeks 4 days pregnant, I've had 2 scans one at 8 weeks 5 days and one at 11 weeks dead on. Both scans were perfect baby has grown and has a very strong heart beat which is amazing. This week I've started having some cramping not severe just noticeable and fairly often but not constant. I had a miscarriage in my last pregnancy so with this one I'm extra cautious and anxious about everything. I'm not sure whether it's just everything growing and stretching ( so round ligament pain) or what but just wondered if any ladies have had cramping in their pregnancies as they approaches 12 weeks 💕💕💕

Also having a little back pain today, no bleeding or anything like that so I think it's ok just looking for some reassurance Smile

I think I got cramping until about 16 weeks with my first pregnancy. For my second, I realised that my pregnancy symptoms included feeling like I was about to start a period. It took me four years and three lots of IVF to get pregnant the first time, so I too was very stressed.

I have a cousin who started bleeding at thirteen weeks so much that she was having to change pad every twenty minutes. She was sure she'd lost the baby. She had placenta previa, which got better as the pregnancy progressed. The baby is now nine and a half.

By around 18 weeks with my first pregnancy, I realised that feeling sick with nerves the whole time was probably not going to change the outcome and decided to at least try and enjoy being pregnant at all. DS is now nine.

I totally understand why you feel as you do. I can't promise the catastrophe won't happen again, but hopefully this will make you feel a bit better until you have more info. Talk to your midwife on Monday if you can Thanks

Thankyou very much 💕 I have a scan in about a week and a half anyways so that'll be helpful, my last scan was 4 days ago and everything was perfect, heard the heart beat and baby was very active and moving around so I think it's just round ligament pain starting 😊

Not as crampy today it seems to come when my bladder is full or if I'm in a weird position, so I think it is just everything growing and stretching ❤️

Hi OP! I am 18 weeks pregnant and I had quite a bit of cramping in the first trimester. I did notice it more when I needed a wee, had lots of gas or needed to poop (apologies for the TMI!) - still do get it at these times to be honest! I had a MMC last year so I know how you feel, checking every feeling and pain. I think if it's not severe and there's no bleeding and it passes after toilet situations, I wouldn't worry about it. Defo ask your midwife just in case! Xxx

@kidsareok Thankyou very much, mines exactly like you have describes yours and it's so much better today so think things were just having a move and stretch yesterday xx
