12 week scan but measured 10+6

Hi all,

I went for my 12 week scan last Friday but the sonographer measured me at 10+6 and said it was too early to do any screening tests. (Which does work out with when I ovulated)
She asked if I wanted them done and I said yes but then she didn’t tell me anything else about it?

I haven’t had another scan rebooked other than my 20 week scan in September.

What happens now?
I do want to have the screening done but it feels like because I was earlier than expected, I’m not able to have it done now?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, the same happened to me at my 12 week scan. I went and they measured baby at 10 weeks 5 days. They booked me another appointment then to return when I would be 12 weeks.
Have you got a letter confirming the scan you had today? If so call the number on there and they will be able to book you another scan
