Whooping Cough Vaccine

So I had my vaccine yesterday morning and by tea time last night I had blurred vision, cramps, my whole left side was numb and my fingers swelled up.
Today I feel dreadful and can hardly lift my head.
I feel like I've been ran over.

The midwife did say I may get flu like symptoms but just wondered if anyone had similar symptoms?

That sounds like quite a bad reaction. I would ring your gp today?

I felt rough the next day , I was sleepy and had a sore arm for a week but that’s it.

LRHRN · 10/07/2020 10:40

@Whatinthename20 I haven't got any swelling or anything on my arm but just feel horrendous. My whole left side aches even my face.
Ill see if a snooze will help and then phone the gp xx

I’d phone - that sounds horrible! Whooping cough is no joke either so good for you (and the baby) for getting the jab.

Whatinthename20 · 10/07/2020 10:48

@LRHRN you mentioned cramping, where about?

LRHRN · 10/07/2020 13:00

Thank you.
The cramping has been on the left side of my lower abdomen/pelvis but at the scan yesterday she was lying transverse so may be just stretching as I've not been feeling crappy today xx

I had my whooping cough vaccination and feel so crap now. I've taken the morning off work, but hoping it doesn't last long. Is it just a couple of days?

MichelleOR84 · 04/08/2020 22:38

I had my whooping cough vaccine last week and was told there are no symptoms as it’s not a live vaccine . I was told to only expect a sore and bruised arm .
