29 weeks weigh the same as I did before pregnancy

So I was always hovering around the 11st something 12 stone mark before pregnancy and I'm 5ft 4. According to the scales I'm still about that now and I'm 29 weeks. Is this normal/ok?

I found my diet changed with lock down, eating way less rubbish. I also lost weight due to bad morning sickness in the first few months so that has been gained back.

Bump appears to be a normal measurement, I think 29cm if I read my file right.

Has anyone else had similar? I fully expect to pile it on in the last trimester x

Everyone is different so if your midwife isn’t worried, you shouldn’t be!

I’m 25 weeks, so a bit behind you, but only a couple of lbs heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight. I’ve got a defined baby bump but my face looks slimmer so I’m guessing the baby is getting everything it needs. I lost around 8lbs during the first few months - better diet, no booze, it seems to happen to some people. Have put it back on plus the couple of lbs I mention.

Will be interesting to see what happens in the 3rd tri!

I think that sounds pretty normal and its more about the bump measurement from now - which my understanding should roughly correlate with weeks?

I'm 5ft5 and am inching up on the 12st mark now at 27 weeks! I think I was about 11st pre-preg. Hoping I don't pile on too much in the third tri but expect I will!

Due to sickness I lost 3 stone during pregnancy. Put it all back on in the last 4 weeks.

I wouldn't worry about weight gain if your baby is otherwise measuring normal in the scans and based on bump measurements.
I didn't gain much weight during any of my pregnancies, I just had a bump but was otherwise slim. Because I am tall, my BMI technically classes me as underweight, but I have a good appetite.
Plenty of women are encouraged to lose weight during pregnancy so I don't see why it's a problem if you don't gain weight - as long as everything else is ok and baby is measuring ok in the scans etc.

I'm just over 27 weeks and I haven't gained anything either. This is my third baby but the first time I haven't gained any weight.
I have gestational diabetes so I'm generally more aware of what I'm eating but baby is measuring well and my midwife has no concerns.
There's so much literature on what should be gained it's easy to become worried and I have certainly gone through that stage but now I'm accepting, I'm eating well and baby is ok so there is no need to worry

I'm jealous of you all!!! 😭😭😭 I'm nearly 29 weeks and 3 stone heavier and still packing it on!
I've already surpassed the amount I was supposed to put on but my MW doesn't seem bothered (maybe because she hasn't weighed me since I was 8 weeks!!!)
Cherish it whilst you can ladies!

Completely normal, some people down gain much weight at all in pregnancy, especially with the natural change of diet as you just dont fancy big meals or certain foods anymore, plus as you seem to be on the shorter side like me you will find that baby will literally squashes your belly so you dont feel hungry anymore, add in the heartburn which just puts you off eating!! Im at that stage Grin
