COVID-19 Ryanair flight 24 weeks pregnant

I am due to fly in August and will be 24 weeks pregnant. I have cancelled hotel as don't feel comfortable going on holiday because of COVID19. Does anyone know if you can cancel for free when pregnant? It if you can only cancel if you have a medical doctors note? I just wanted to do a bit of digging before I call my insurance. I booked the holiday last year before I knew I was pregnant x

I don't think you are entitled to anything extra for cancelling when pregnant, I think it's just the normal cancellation terms that apply. So, if the flight is going and FCO says it's OK to travel but you voluntarily choose to cancel, then I think you just loose the money.

If you have a doctors note saying that medically you are unable to fly for whatever reason, then insurance may cover you for that.

@sel2223 thank you, I think you are right. It's so annoying, I'm just trying to think of any possibilities that I can to try and get a refund but looks like I'll lose the money :( I'm going to ask my midwife if there would be any chance of receiving a doctors note

Just curious why you need a doctors note at 24 weeks? I'm supposed to be going at 27 weeks & now panicking 😳😂

Yes I don't want to go and know that the only way I can get my money back is with a doctors note x
