Hi just wondered if anyone else has had this feeling and if so how far along are you..

The only way I can describe it is like bubbles popping really low down under my bump👀

I’m 24 weeks tomorrow and the only things I’ve read that sound similar seem to be from women that were getting close to labour but I don’t know if that’s just because it’s low down?? I don’t wanna call the midwife because it’s not painful and he is very lively so maybe it’s linked to that

Is this not hiccup?

pinkblossomdreams · 09/07/2020 11:33

Sorry baby hiccups.

Goingdownto · 09/07/2020 11:34

Bubbles were the first baby movements that I felt

That sounds like movements or baby hiccups as mentioned above

Its been going on for a while though I had it on and off all day yesterday and then woke up to it this morning.. he never feels like that when he moves it’s usually kicks or pressure

"Sometime between 18 and 22 weeks of pregnancy, you will start to feel your baby move. At first, these small movements feel like fluttering or "butterflies." Some women say that they feel like gas bubbles"
I think this is what it is. Your baby will be moving position so what you felt before might change. However, given you are at 24 weeks and are detecting a change in movement it would be worth giving your midwife or pregnancy unit a ring to speak to them.

Yeah that’s all that seems to come up when I google it but he has been moving for well over a month now and I got the fluttering feeling way back at 15 weeks I think so his movements are a lot bigger now, he is still kicking loads so I know that’s a good sign but I’ve never felt this weird bubble feeling before so it’s weirding me out😅

I'm 35 weeks and still get these little popping bubbles very low down.

sel2223 · 09/07/2020 12:16

Your movements will change quite a bit between 24 and 28 weeks....both in frequency and types of movements you feel.

Ds1 used to hiccup like crazy. My whole stomach would move. So a smaller baby hiccuping could feel like bubbles?
I would always, always, get a professional opinion.
