Hi ladies

I’m currently 39+4 days pregnant with my second baby. (My first was induced, so this is all new to me)

Today I’ve had the terrible backache and when I’ve wiped I’ve started to have red/pink blood on the tissue, I’ve put a pad on and it’s now gone onto that.
Phoned the hospital and they said most likely my show, however I thought a show was meant to be mucus?

Was anyone else’s show just blood with no mucus? How long until you went into labour etc.

I do have pictures of what I mean but I don’t know how to add pictures or if I even can

That's how my labour started. Good luck with everything.

Thank you, how long until you went into labour? Contractions etc and birth?
I’m getting rather impatient @Sertchgi123

That's exactly how my first labour started. I had backache all day and light bleeding. Had my DD within 24 hours of it starting. The bleeding did eventually become more mucus like but not until I was at the hospital have very regular contractions. Good luck Smile

Thank you!

I actually had some small spotting last night but didn't think anything of it. Was just a tiny amount!

I've been losing mucus for the past week but more like clear (not bloody)!

I'm hoping this is the start, I'm about to get a soak in the bath to see if that helps!
