Thinking ahead to things I can do to prepare for when baby arrives and batch-cooking meals for the freezer seems like a good idea.

What works well? What are your go to recipes to make and freeze?

Any ideas appreciated! X

Batch cooking freezer meals for after the baby comes was the best decision we made!
Sorry I don’t have specific recipes but we just did the classic chilli con carne, chicken curry, bolognese, Thai green curry, lasagne, casserole, all stacked up in the freezer in plastic tubs. Kept us going for months.

We've got a tiny freezer, so mine's a paired down version - white sauce (add broccoli and pasta) tomato sauce (good base for chilli, homemade baked beans, pasta sauce) french onion soup. Will also add lentil soup at some point but won't have space for full meals. Oh well, loads of takeaway it is then...
