Line progression - worried 😟

Hello ladies,

I tested positive on 6dp5dt and the line on frer kept getting stronger until 10/11dp5dt. I am now on 13dp5dt and the line hasn’t changed much over the last three days. Also, I would have expected a much stronger line by now? I don’t have many pregnancy symptoms, some nausea that come and go and intermittently sore breasts.

If anyone has any stories that would give me some hope I would be grateful.

This is my second FET and my clinic does not do Betas

I am a nervous wreck. I have had two nights full of nightmares about losing my baby and I woke up to a visibly lighter line on frer today. It's only half the strength of one I took yesterday afternoon. I have also has period style cramps but no bleeding.

I am mentally exhausted and it feels like I have no one to talk to that truly understands what I am going through.

I wonder if it's just my medication that is stopping me from bleeding right now

@Kaa9985 unfortunately I started to miscarry on Thursday evening, doctor confirmed it yesterday morning also. I really hope you have a good outcome positive thoughts to you x

something seriously strange is happening to my tests..

I took another one with the second urine of the day and its much stronger, double the strength.. I am confused, I know no one can tell me what is going on, I know that I shouldn't test.. but its impossible not to, and its impossible not to worry :(

I have attached a picture, both tests are taken today.
I take heparin in the evening, maybe its doing something to the strength of my hcg over night?

How many days post transfer are you and did you transfer one or two? Have you had your OTD?

There comes a point where hcg becomes just to high for first responses (and eventually every test) and it can give odd results like this hence why more diluted wee gives a stronger line? And why I've seen some women do tests for a laugh at 8 months pregnant and get a BFN!

Also some people's bodies metabolise hcg in urine faster at night so actually holding it in for say 8 hours when you sleep means the the body has more time to eat away the hcg hence fainter results with FMU and stronger with SMU - hope that makes sense! 🤣

Hi @ivfdreaming I am 18dp5dt and I transferred an A+ blast. I have had my OTD and I am worried the line isn't stronger by now.

I do have symptoms, but they come and go. The line from my second morning pee isn't lighter than my darkest line though, if that makes sense? I just had a real shock this morning when I took a test and it was so faint.

Have you tried doing a clearblue test with weeks indicator - I wouldn't bother with anymore first response. You should get a better idea of what's happening with a clearblue?

Did your clinic not do a blood test on OTD?

I did a digital on my OTD and it said 'pregnant 1-2' but I am scared to do another as my frer tests aren't that strong?

No, they don't do bloods, not sure why not though.

I have a scan on Friday, but it feels like an eternity until then xx

I'm the worst possible person to give advice as I tested almost daily and have spent a fortune on clearblue digitals with weeks. I've had 5 previous miscarriages so it was important for my peace of mind to see a 3+ roughly when I should. If I was you I'd do a clearblue......a week is a long time to wait under these circumstances and at least it will prepare you if it is still saying 1-2 weeks

(These tests aren't perfect by any means but they've always predicted when my pregnancies weren't going to be viable) x

@ivfdreaming I just don't think it will say 3+ right now judging by the frer line :(

@Christie08 I don’t know what to think, everything is so up and down. I have stopped testing as it’s just not doing me any favours. I have no bleeding so I guess that’s something. I guess we’ll see on Friday. How are you feeling? Xx

@ Kaa9985 That’s a positive that there’s no bleeding so fingers crossed everything will be ok. I’m doing ok, still bleeding but I hope the worst is over me soon. Feeling pretty rubbish!
