During pregnancy I noticed a lump in my armpit and read it would be a swollen lymph node etc. My newborn is 2/3 days old and my milk is already in, the armpit lump has swollen right up to the size of a brussel sprout.... should I be worried? X

Sounds like mastitis.
You could show your midwife/ hv
Keep feeding from the boob next to the affected armpit.

Could be a blocked duct. If massaging and feeding doesn't relieve it then see the dr. But accessory breast tissue in your underarms is normal and with your milk coming in it will swell a little. See if it settles. If it gets more sore, see a dr

It's probably nothing to worry about but you should get someone to look at it - congrats on the new baby!

I had this in my teens and it was painful to even put my arm down. It was a swollen lymph node and needed antibiotics
