Hi, I don’t really understand much about Mumsnet I’ve only just found it (after searching for answers all day) I just wanted to share my experience and hopefully give someone else in my situation a little reassurance and hope. Today I was having sex with my boyfriend, I’m 14 weeks pregnant - I looked down and realised I was bleeding heavily with a few clots. I went straight to A&E and after an agonising wait, I’ve just had an ultrasound and baby is healthy and has a healthy heartbeat. They believe it was caused by my cervix being aggravated but the blood was like a heavy period, it lasted a few hours and is only spotting now - I’ve just been sent home. I hope that if you are in the same situation as I was today and you come across this thread it gives you some hope x
