Help pls! Light brown on wipe and discharge 12 weeks

Brown discharge on wipe and In urine 12+4 weeks. I had one weeny bit of dark brown discharge and then now it’s just like a pail brown when I wipe.

I literally had a scan today and it was all perfect.

I did get diagnosed with a a UTI last week (symptomless) and I am midway through antibiotics.

Why is this happening :( I feel like it’s one thing after the other.

Someone help please xx

@KateJ59 I had similar at 10+3 (along with a small red bleed), 11+6, and 13+4. I was terrified so I sympathise with you ❤️

I phoned the Early Pregnancy Unit at the hospital with mine and they did get me in twice to be checked over but could find no source of bleeding whatsoever. They said that brown is usually old blood that can get dislodged as your cervix changes during pregnancy so that’s what they thought mine was. Give them a phone and they should be able to offer you some advice ❤️

With my bleed at 13+4 I also had to go in for an Anti-D injection as a precaution because of my blood type so worth bearing that in mind too if you happen to be Rh-

Hi OP this happened to me 3 times and around where you are. I was told brown was old blood so if you’ve had a scan today and all was fine, I wouldn’t give it a second thought.

I also had red blood at one point but again all well. Please don’t worry too much I think this is very common but people assume the worst and aren’t aware how many people have this and turns out perfectly fine.

They say if it fills one sanitary towel in a matter of hours (can’t remember how many) and is red then to get it checked.

Thanks all, seems to have gone down today - was still there when I woke up but got less and less with each wee. Fingers crossed it stays that way xxx
