If you search for diagrams of the uterus at 11 weeks you’ll see it’s still very small/low down. If they stepped above belly button they’d be no where near.
Of course I’m no medical professional, so if you’re concerned you could always ask your midwife to put you at ease Smile

Hi OP. Baby is so small at this point that he/she is well protected.
I fell flat on my stomach a few weeks ago (currently 26 weeks) and it fucking hurt! I was in so much pain I went to the maternity assessment unit to be checked over. Baby was fine! 😁
I imagine you have your scan soon so that will reassure you.
Unless you are in serious pain or bleeding I would say your little bundle is quite safe.
However, if you are super concerned contact your EPAU and they might just get you in quickly to check you over.

If it was above your belly button, it should have been nowhere near baby at 11 weeks. Have a look at some pictures of where the uterus is at 11 weeks (Mumsnet weekly pregnancy calendar has these). No bleeding or cramping afterwards I assume?

I asked my doctor about this a few weeks ago because my 4 year old jumped on me to give me a hug and ended up kneeing me in the stomach - it hurt, but the doctor said the baby is really well cushioned and I only need worry if it's a major trauma, like being in a car crash or falling down stairs or something. Normal knocks and bumps won't do any damage, as I understand it!

At 11 weeks your baby is still tucked away inside your pelvis, or just beginning to rise slightly above it, so very well protected....nowhere near your upper abdomen yet, so don't worry! A similar thing happened to me actually.
