Painful protruding vein on vulva! Sorry TMI.

For the last few weeks I've had this small, painful lump on my vulva. I have looked and it's definitely a vein popping out of my skin, it also bleeds sometimes from rubbing on my clothes, first time I noticed it, it bled a lot. It's really painful and catches all the time.

Has anyone had this or know what it is? Also any remedies?

I can’t remember the exact name but it’s like a varicose vein, they can occur on your vulva in pregnancy. I would mention to your midwife if you are worried. I had this in my 2nd pregnancy, it was uncomfortable but
Mine didn’t bleed. It got worse towards the end of pregnancy but disappeared straight after birth.
