Wisdom tooth pain relief in pregnancy

I’m approaching 18 weeks pregnant and since yesterday my wisdom tooth has been throbbing so bad. I don’t think it’s infected, I think it’s just trying to break through again. Pre pregnancy it was only half way through the gum for years and my dentist said it would never come through all the way.

I’ve tried salt water and ice packs but are there any other suggested safe ways to relieve the pain?

I’m trying to avoid paracetamol and I read online bonjela and cloves shouldn’t be used when pregnant x

Can completely sympathise, I’m 35 weeks and just had a wisdom tooth removed 2 days ago after a couple weeks of pain! I found sensodyne really helped (brushing with it and rubbing on the tooth) and paracetamol.
