Hi all,

My little monthly visitor was due today but has yet to show. We aren’t actively trying but also aren’t preventing if that makes sense. We have sort of just left it to fate.

Recently I’ve noticed during sex with my DH my cervix is stupidly sensitive and tmi if DH taps it, it can sometimes hurt. This is new to me, normally if he were to touch it, it was quite a nice feeling.

I was concerned about it & have an telephone appointment with my GP regarding having a Gyno check it all out hopefully they are doing referrals again now, fingers crossed.

But now my little monthly visitor hasn’t showed and I don’t have a single one of my normal signs that she’s coming I’m wondering if this might be a pregnancy symptom?

Did any of you experience something like this during early pregnancy?

I’ve had two dizzy spells lately & a few light waves of nausea but I have also not been eating great as I had no appetite and server trapped wind that was worse when I’d eaten. So I sort of blamed those symptoms on that rather than thinking fate might have blessed us.

I know one day late isn’t a lot and I’m not holding my breath that I am pregnant but i guess I’m trying to lower my anxiety about my sensitive cervix if it is something people do experience during early pregnancy. Also want to add I’ve had more discharge than normal but it isn’t unusual discharge as such, it doesn’t smell & I don’t have any symptoms of BV or thrush (they used to terrorise me when I first started my monthly’s Confused)

I’m sorry for such a long post I’m a bit of a rambler... very talented at making a short story long BlushGrin

Anything you suggest would be appreciated.

I'd take a test before you get a referral. You don't want to mess things up.

Severe trapped wind haha not server... bloody auto correct!

@Isthisfinallyit I have a two pack of CB’s on hand but thought one day late might be a bit too soon. The women in my family are notorious for getting false negatives. My mum didn’t get a positive result we me & my sister until she was almost six months & clearly pregnant Hmm she also still had light ‘periods’ until she was three months along.

Hi! I'm 14+3 and one of the first signs before I had a pregnancy test that made me think I was pregnant was discomfort during sex. It just felt like the whole area was sensitive and there was something going on up there - sure enough a week later I had a positive test! I defo experienced this!

I experienced this too although not painful it wasn’t pleasant whereas it used to be before, I already knew I was pregnant though, I found out 6 days before I was due on. A test should show now tbh I would do one but then I’m impatient lol

@Char2020 thank you! It’s mostly unpleasant feeling unless things get a little... wild Wink but it’s definitely a random change I was aware of & concerned about. I’m thinking of testing when my husband is back from work. Hopefully it will give me some answers, even so my monthly visitor still hasn’t shown so either I’ll get brave & test or she will show up! Thank you for you help :) I appreciate it & it’s definitely helped my anxiety
