Hi Guys, i found out on Monday that i am pregnant with my first baby. I am around 5 weeks. In the early hours of this morning i had cramps, they were a lot more intense than menstrual cramps. Then this afternoon i noticed brown blood when wiping, very little though. Has this happened anyone else? Im so worried, i really hope everything is going to be ok 😢

Hiya, I had intense period cramps at the same stage as you. I thought my period was coming as they were so strong (had them for over a week!) Although I didn't have the bleeding, if it's brown it's implantation bleeding and nothing to worry about ā˜ŗļø Completely normal at 5 weeks!
I'm currently 25 weeks and everything is perfect ā˜ŗļø I hope this puts you at ease!

@ChickenDipper28 thanks for your reply 😊 i really hope everything is ok, trying to convince mysel that it's implantation bleeding but i got the postive test on Monday, i thought you dont get postive tests until after implantation? Early pregnancy unit wont look at me as im too early, so have to ride it out for a week 😩 xx

First of all congratulations! It sounds like implantation bleeding. It's so hard but try not to panic! I had a miscarriage at the beginning of the year and am now pregnant again. I had a bleed on Monday with clots and have had a scan today. I'm 6 weeks and my little bean with there with a beautiful heartbeat! Brown blood is old blood and cramps are normal in early pregnancy. They could be from the implantation. Or simply your uterus beginning to stretch and get ready to be home for your baby! Keep an eye on things and if it gets heavier/more painful ring 111. That's what I did and they advised me to go to the walk in. When there they sent me to the EPU who did a cervix exam and then booked me in for the internal ultrasound today. Even if you're 5 weeks they should see you! I was only 5 and a half when I went! :) Fingers crossed for you! Xx

I’m just over 5 weeks and have period like cramps for the past week and pink blood when I wiped both once yesterday and today. I’m going in for an emergency scan (internal one) tomorrow
