Any mums had really big babies measuring above the 97th percentile? At 27 weeks he was measuring 36 weeks and today at 31 weeks hes measuring 40 weeks gestation. Iv been getting regular growth scans and he just keeps getting bigger, hes well above the 97th percentile which is starting to worry me! I know iv to get induced early, has anybody been in a similar situation?

I am in a similar situation

Baby was measuring 10 days ahead at 20-week Scan, above the 100% line at 28 week appointment.

Went for a growth scan, and he looked to be measuring 3 weeks ahead in some areas,

32 week appointment and still above 97% percentile as per Midwifes measuring tape.

I am concerned, as both my Partner and I are fairly petite people, but no talk yet of continued scans, or indeed testing for diabetes. So not sure what to do!

@ml01omm iv already been checked for the diabetes at 28 weeks but I dont have it, I get regular growth scans every 2 weeks and then I see my midwife the week s inbetween so I'm getting seen on a weekly basis just now. I would ask about growth scans, my midwife sent me straight to the hospital at 27 weeks when I measured 36 and it's been a weekly think since.
