Alba Botanica Acne Products safe in pregnancy??

Currently 14 weeks pregnant and I have broke out in terrible acne on my face (frustrating as my skin was so clear before pregnancy)

The Alba Botanica Acne Deep Pore Wash has amazing reviews but I was just wondering if anybody has used any of these products from Holland and Barrett or knows if they are safe to use in pregnancy?

I looked on the website an cannot see anything, don’t want to waste my money then find out there not safe to use.

You can’t use anything with acids like Salic acid etc in skin care whilst pregnant. Your skin is more sensitive and harsh products can cause reactions etc. Also anything with retinol must be avoided as it’s Vitamin A (an excess of which can cause birth defects).

If these products are free from the above, I imagine you’d be fine

Just checked the ingredients and it says 2% salicylic acid so it looks like I’ll be giving it a miss!
