10 day luteal phase and ttc

Hi first time posting hope I’ve done this right! I’m looking for a bit of advice if possible- I have a 29 day cycle and a 10 day luteal phase, so my question is when can I take a pregnancy test? Because although they say you can test up to 4 days before a missed period, that would only put me at 7 dpo? Hope this makes sense and Thankyou in advance to any replies😊

Oops forgot to mention- I also ovulate quite late on cd19 every month so I’d pregnancy even possible given the way my cycle goes?

I got pregnant on a similar cycle. But I didn't test until he day of my period, stopped me going insane, and actually, the m8nth I fell pregnant, I didn't test until two days late. I forced myself to do other things.
I had to have sex much later than any app or book told me too, the day before ovulation, the day of, and then one day after.

I have a 10day luteal phase though with a really long cycle. With my son I ovulated on day 36 of my cycle and tested positive on day 7 I think. With daughter tested on day 6 I think... as soon as the cooked chicken may be retch.. Lol I can't smell meat when pregnant

I got pregnant 3 times on a 9/10 day luteal phase so it is possible. I got a positive test a couple of days after my AF was due, I think I was 13 dpo. I had tested negative at 7dpo

I worried about short luteal phase a lot when I was ttc but I'm now 15 weeks pregnant. Also my due date suggests I wasn't ovulating late after all. I'd recommend DTD every other day through whole cycle instead of sticking strictly to when you think you're ovulating (I used ovulation sticks too!)
