Hey guys,
I went for a scan today to check a cyst I had on my ovary that they found back in March when I had a MC! I'm currently pregnant again and I thought I was 8 weeks pregnant but I'm measuring at 6.5 weeks. 8 weeks was going by the first day of my last period. I seen baby & baby's heartbeat today.
Has this happened to anyone else? They said today that because of my previous MC that my cycle could be out of sorts. I'm just a bit paranoid! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thanks in advance. X

It’s very likely your cycle is up the wall and your dates are wrong. I had a mmc in Jan and found out I was pregnant in March after 1 cycle. When I went for my dating scan I was sure I was exactly 12 weeks going by my last period, turned out I was 13+3. If you’ve seen a heartbeat, rest assured that your little bean is doing well.

Good luck with your journey x

After seeing a heartbeat I would say you ovulated later, congratulations!

I thought I was 7+5 at my first scan but baby only measured 6+1

I'm now 32 weeks (baby caught up a week by the dating scan and is now almost exactly on the 50th centile)

Yes, they put me back almost a week in my first pregnancy and 10 days in this one. I have long cycles anyway so not unexpected. Both pregnancies progressed/ progressing fine, I’m 16 weeks now. Just annoying to “re-do” a week.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and seeing the heartbeat, that’s wonderful news!
