Is all this pain normal in early pregnancy ?

Hi guys , I've recently found out I'm pregnant , approx 6 weeks , until it's confirmed by my scan

The last 2 days I have been in agony in my right hip & right thigh
There was been no injury , nothing that can explain it

My sister said it's something to do with my hips moving ?
But surely it can't be at 6 weeks ?

Is this normal & can I take a low dose of paracetamol to ease the pain ?

Thanks Smile

It can be normal- pregnancy does weird things to us all!

You’re best off discussing with a GP though.

I had a lot of back/hip pain this time between 6&7 weeks (last pregnancy it was very much later on). Your body produces hormones that relaxes various ligaments, can cause all sorts of aches and pains.

I ended up pulling a back muscle which was so bad I needed a week on the sofa! Was very surprised what hormones can do on the body I'm now 11+ weeks and suffer from achy hips,
