I dunno if this happens to anyone else,

When I’m lay in bed feeling baby move, sometimes I’ll see my belly move but I can’t feel it! It’s so strange. If I wasn’t looking at it I’d have no idea he was moving in there, I don’t know whether these are just small movements that aren’t strong enough to feel. But then I can see them easily!

Has anyone else had the same? I’ve got myself into a tizz about baby movements and worrying about them recently.

I had this for a couple of weeks around 30 weeks! I could see my belly moving around but couldn't feel a thing. I was getting worried that I wasn't feeling kicks but then could see them!

I'm now 35 weeks and he's always moving around in there. My midwife said in the third trimester movements can sometimes be less kicks and more wriggling and due to placenta placement or strength of movement you can't always feel it but can see it.

Now there is no missing the movements, but if your ever concerned give triage a ring and pop up for monitoring, I went at 31 weeks and they were brill. They could see babies movements on the monitor but I still couldn't feel a thing. They would rather you go and everything be fine x

Have you got an anterior placenta? I'm 32 weeks and get this quite a bit as a lot of the movements are cushioned by the placenta
