Hi just looking to see if anyone else has had this until sat I was sick and very nauseated ... and all of a sudden it seems to have subsided and the acid indigestion I was getting has stopped I'm worried there's something wrong as I thought it was about 12 weeks and I'm just ten I'm worried baby has stopped growing or something 😞

@Clarkel1 nothing to worry about hun, this is totally normal. Mine stopped at about 10 weeks as well. I’m 16 weeks now and everything’s fine with bubba! I still get a very rare morning where I feel a bit queasy but that’s literally it now since week 10. You might even find that you have a week or so without and then it comes back! Count yourself lucky that you’re not feeling terrible anymore, that’s what I’ve learnt.

@Bettie2192 I'm going out of my mind thinking my boobs aren't as sore etc 😞 just seems so sudden to stop, thank you that makes me feel better ... I think 🙈

Ohh that’s another nice trick my body did- boobs were sore at the start of pregnancy, then they seemed to be ok for a few weeks, and now suddenly in the last few days they are sooo painful again. Having a second growth spurt I think 😂 honestly it’s totally normal for symptoms to come and go, your hormones are fluctuating all the time. Your body might get used to it for a bit, you’ll think hey I feel fine, then bam more hormones. My nausea was like a roller coaster- if I felt fine for a few days, I knew there was another wave of it due soon lol.

BabyWright · 17/06/2020 13:01

Please don’t worry, your hormones start to calm down around 10 weeks as your placenta has developed enough to look after the baby. I’m currently pregnant with my second and it happened again to me at 10 weeks.

This has happened to me, I'm 9w4d today going off an early ultrasound I had at 7 weeks.. Up until now had awful nausea and acid and super sore boobs.. I had a mmc last year so I'm extra worried this time around. I keep reading that from week 9 is when your hormones are strongest so was expecting symptoms to get worse not subside.
Also when I wiped last night I noticed a big blob of clear jelly which has concerned me, has anyone else had this?

RaN88 · 17/06/2020 13:17

Mine stopped at 10 weeks exactly. I'm now hopefully 10+6 and my first scan isn't until 13 weeks so have to wait and see. It's strange isn't it because as much as I hated the nausea and worse for me the aversions to food and what should be pleasant smells - they were reassuring that everything was ok!! My nipples are a tad sensitive if I really prod them. I'm just looking after myself best I can and I'm sure everything will be ok! Try not to stress. A lot of people here say their symptoms stopped and it's normal :)

@PollyOaks it’s quite common to get more discharge in pregnancy. I get it more when I’ve been active, e.g after a long walk. Had you been particularly active before you saw the discharge? As long as it’s clear or white I wouldn’t be worried if I were you.

Senoritaono · 17/06/2020 13:37

Mine stopped about 10 weeks. All was fine. I didn't even think about it. Try to relax OP.

Nat6999 · 17/06/2020 13:45

Mine stopped by 8 weeks, it was like someone had flipped a switch, started bang on 5 weeks & stopped bang on 8 weeks.

Clarkel1 · 17/06/2020 14:12

@PollyOaks yes I get the discharge I get it more if I've been on my feet a lot, weird... I've also had a couple of bleeds but scans confirmed both times I was ok.

Yes I'm the same like a switch, the acid has got a lot less and I don't feel that sick I was basically in bed so unwell for 3 weeks there ... I couldn't sleep either which I've managed to do the last two nights ... our bodies are strange things 🙈

@Bettie2192 I hadnt been active at all really just pottered around the house.

Bettie2192 · 17/06/2020 18:30

@PollyOaks even so, I don’t think you should be worried at all :)

@Clarkel1 glad it’s not just me then that gets it more when I’ve been on my feet! Weird isn’t it, almost like walking around dislodges it or something lol.

Clarkel1 · 17/06/2020 21:52

@Bettie2192 yes it comes in blobs sorry tmi 😂 my tummy is also very sore all around like the belly button and accross don't know if it's just stretching x

Bettie2192 · 17/06/2020 22:28

@Clarkel1 same over here! Like you’ve done an ab workout or something? I think it is just stretching.

PollyOaks · 17/06/2020 22:30

Glad the blobby discharge seems to be normal I've read stories about it being the mucus plug and worried I had a weak cervix or something.
@clarkel1 I have had pains there and I've put it down to indigestion, constipation and wind 🙈 soooo bloated and tender too on times makes me look further gone than I am lol

Clarkel1 · 17/06/2020 23:00

@PollyOaks @Bettie2192 omg yes stomach is actually sore to touch like it's tearing ! My tummy is smaller in the morning and then by night I look about 4 months gone. I can't even hide it and I'm only 11 on Monday 😩

PollyOaks · 17/06/2020 23:37

@Clarkel1 mines exactly the same can't even breathe in to make it show less it feels really hard and pushed out. I'm only 10 weeks Friday!
