Pregnancy of unknown location help!

Hi all,

Went for ran early scan tonight: thinking i was around 7weeks. However I do have irregular cycles so knew this was a potential guess.

Went to have the scan this evening. Sonographer located a gestational sac and said it measured 5+5 but couldn't see a yolc sac or embryo.
She did say that it could be too early to see or a miscarriage. She checked my ovaries and Fallopian tubes and said it was very unlikely to be an ectopic.

I've been referred to the EPU and have to go in tomorrow to have my bloods taken to check my HCG levels and then another scan in a week.

Has anyone else been in a similar position? I feel broken by it all!

Yes, I went the week later and we saw the heartbeat. You are measuring early so, will have to wait and see.

This happened to me on Monday. I though I was 6+3 but they just saw a small for dates empty gestational sack. Told me to come back in two weeks. I couldn’t wait and yesterday I booked a private scan. In 5 days I grew a yolk sac, embryo and tiny flickering heart. Still way behind for dates but huge progress in five days.
