Hi all.

Can anyone recommend any great online pregnancy fitness and yoga classes?

Was just starting to get fitness back on track with swimming and yoga classes before lockdown, now I’m 18 weeks pregnant and have been pretty sedentary for most of that time especially losing my roughly 8000 steps a day of normal commuting (a pregnancy asthma flare up hasn’t helped) Now I’m genuinely starting to worry about my fitness and stamina for labour!

Would usually always prefer going to a class or the gym but needs must. When I google pregnancy fitness and yoga there’s sooo many. I’d love some recommendations of online classes you love.

Thanks Smile

have a look at the your bump room fitness classes (will link below). It is an irish website, so the cost is in euros (47 euros so £42), but they offer a whole host of classes for fitness as well as stretching videos. You will need a yoga ball, which you can get cheaply on amazon. all the best x

If you're on Instagram follow bumps and burpees - she posts lots of different live workouts to do at home. You can vary intensity & most need no equipment.

Another vote for bumps and burpees on Instagram! I've just started them this week and enjoying them so far!

Thanks! Is it not hard to follow something on a little Instagram phone screen?

I use my iPad normally for it so it's a little bigger! She does Lives, but they are recorded for IGTV. All free, but you can make a donation to Tommy's if you wish to.

Body fit by Amy. She has a whole playlist of videos from 10 to 30 minutes, cardio, full body and body part focused ones.

Yes I do babyfit by Amy, she has quite an array of videos as mentioned - I found a lot of the videos by others on YouTube a bit annoying, but she isnt annoying at all! Body coach has a couple of YouTube too. I have a beach body membership too which has a number of prenatal workouts but that's paid for - you obviously get the benefit of all the non maternity workouts too once you've had baby though!
Most workouts are fine to carry on with to he honest, but I've found it good to do a few prenatal ones to teach me what I shouldn't be doing!
