Missed pills - could I be pregnant again? Miscarriage in February x

Hello everyone!

I had my first miscarriage in February, and although it was a surprise for us we both now really want a family and are planning to try next year when we settle into our new home.

However, I started on the pill again 2 months ago and truth be told I was a bit clumsy this month and missed 1 pill in week one and 1 pill in week two..

I've had sore boobs for about a week now, and I never usually have any breast or nipple pain. The last time this happened I found out I was pregnant.

Granted I'm due the 7 day break and withdrawal bleed next week, so it could also be that - but I dont usually get this!

I also dont really want to get my hopes up but I just needed to let this outtt. The last time I was off the pill for 2 months before we conceived.

Do you think theres any chance? Did you get pregnant will on the pill and did you miss any tablets, if so how many?

I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant from missing 1 pill, I still can’t believe it myself but it can definitely happen! I don’t want to get your hopes up though as last year I also missed a couple of pills out my pack by mistake and it made my hormones go all over the place and made me have experience pregnancy like symptoms that weren’t! Fingers crossed for you though 🤞🏼

So I'm now 5 days into my 7 day break and still no period... so I'm about 2 days late. Is it too early to take a test?

It depends what pill you're on as to whether your missed pill counts as a missed pill if that makes sense?
I'm guessing you're on a combined pill which can be taken up to 24 hours late and you'd still be covered. If it was more than 24 hours I'd take a test. Not sure how effective the early ones are though
