Yellowy discharge at 36 weeks pregnant.

Hi all

I have had a yellowy discharge for the past 2 days & also period type dull pain in my lower stomach.
I called the hospital to ask for advise & was just told to keep an eye on it as I have no itching down below etc. Put a pad on and see how it goes. She said I’m not too early for ‘ things to get started’ whatever what means!

I’m wondering could it actually be my mucus plug? It’s a sticky texture.

It sounds like the start of your mucus plug. I started losing mine with DS2 at 37 weeks and lost it over a period of 3 weeks. (It tends to reform).

I then got my bloody show at 40+3 and my boy was born the next day.
