Anyone had negative pregnancy tests and ended up pregnant?

We have been ttc for 6 months for DC2. I am currently 2 days late, which is unusual for me and I have been very nauseous, exhausted and having dizzy spells for the past week, which is similar to my last pregnancy. But I’ve taken a clear blue first response and it’s definitely negative. Has anyone had a negative first response after their period was due and turned out pregnant?

@zippy1510 Yep !!! Especially clear blue. I did 2 CB tests which both said negative. Cheaper ones came back positive. Almost 39w pregnant now.

Yes but I took an early response pregnancy test, so the one I took just before I would have been due my period was negative (the earlier you take them the less accurate they are, needs to be more closer to due date). The one I took when I was around 5 weeks, came out very positive.

My 3 negative tests is now sound asleep in her cot.

Yes! Last month I tested using the cheapy strips for days 1-4 of being late and negative. Finally got some FRER and clearblue and all of them lit up light xmas trees!

Yes! I took tests 6 days late and got negatives but symptoms similar to you.
I only got my positive when I was 9 days late. Turns out I just ovulated late as they dated me 5 days later then I calculated 😀🤞🏻 Everything crossed for you x

Thanks for the replies everyone. Still no AF and two more negatives (one cheap boots strip and the other CB I had). Headed to the shops later to find some pink dye kits!

Yes several, confirmed at 4 months via a blood test, but a long time ago. My baby is 40 next year, how the fuck that happened I've no idea.

Yes. Several negative and an ‘inconclusive’ clear blue. He’s 10 now.

Sadly started bleeding today and all symptoms have abruptly vanished over the past 24 hours. Possibly a chemical or I’m just going crazy. Fingers crossed for next month.
