I can't see the wood from the trees with so much choice, so please help! I don't need it to be all singing all dancing - just something with a good camera and screen/phone connection whereby I can see the baby clearly, and hear when she is unsettled.

Thank you in advance 😊

Bumping this and I would like recommendations too. I was looking at the angelcare movement and video monitors.

We've got a BT one (BT5000 I think) which is really good - big screen, works well in the dark, easy to set up and move round.

we have motorola MBP36s or MBP36 i think, had it with our first 5y ago and will using it again now (still in working condition) with this pregnancy, was really happy with it.

We have a BT 5000 one too. Works fine and is very easy to set up. I like the fact that it doesn't need WiFi as it means we can take it with us on holiday plus the WiFi in our flat can be a bit dodgy.

We have the BT 6000 which is great

Sophie1326 · 10/06/2020 12:56

Nice to hear there's others that have the Motorola 5000 as this is what I've just bought from John Lewis! Yet to receive it so can't review it yet!

Sunsage · 10/06/2020 13:23

I'm a FTM too, going to get the BT 6000. Reviews all seem good and it doesn't work through WiFi as ours can be dodgy in the house.

BT do have a smart version of this that comes with the camera and parent unit but can be connected to a mobile app too, if that's a feature you're looking for.

We've just had the Cubo Ai delivered and I absolutely ADORE it! I watched a new mum review it on YouTube and did some research and it's brilliant. Plus they have a Father's Day deal on if you buy direct 🙂 added bonus, the camera is a cute little bird!

Good luck finding the one for you x

Thank you everyone for your suggestions, I will look into those you have recommended tonight.

Just to throw a thought in- if you have an old phone lying around I downloaded a free baby monitor on it- and connected my phone to it. It has a video, lullabies, alert system and you can view it all from your phone and speak to them too.
