Hi ladies

Sorry if this is TMI but I’m 36 weeks pregnant. Am measuring ahead and have been told babies head is very low down already. I’ve been loosing mucus plug for past few weeks bit by bit so am prepared for if my little girl comes early. I thought I’d feel for my cervix today and my vagina feels ever so swollen inside. Is this normal?

I think I recall being told the pressure of baby can make down there swollen towards the end. My last one never did engage so I'm not speaking from experience but I'm sure I remember either being told or reading it somewhere

I’m aware it can be normal for the vulva to swell which mine also has because of blood flow but I’m not sure about inside? 🤔

I felt like this when in established labour in both pregnancies.
Call the maternity unit see what they think.
Good luck op
