Sorry for TMI - 33 weeks + 5 and have been to toilet for no.2 9 times this morning. This isn’t normal for me..

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this.

I have been to the toilet 9 times this morning for a no.2. Looser than normal.

Tummy bug or impending labour? I feel fine otherwise! Thanks so much!

Could be either, more likely tummy bug! Give your Gp or midwife a call if it continues, in the meantime make sure you’re hydrating a bit more than usual, and behave like it’s gastro (ie - lots of handwashing, stay home from work, etc).

call your midwife.

Could be either but tummy bug can also set off labour (they used to give women castor oil). Keep an eye out for any twinges as you are still early.

Thanks so much. Hasn’t happened at all this afternoon so maybe was just a funny tummy. It just didn’t feel like a funny tummy was more of an anxious feeling but I wasn’t anxious haha.

Thanks so much everybody xx

I'd call your midwife. I know it's early, but that's how my labour started.
Good luck!
